We conduct weekly meetings to discuss feedback from our contractors and customers to stay abreast of what is happening in the field. Concerns or problems expressed by contractors or consumers are addressed and we try to devise ideas and improvements that can address any issues. Through these meetings and discussion groups, our engineers and R&D Departments have their hands full - making sure that The Basement Tuxedo continues to be the best product available today, tomorrow, and into the next century.

 The Basement Tuxedo developed out of need. With the rising costs of homes and construction, homeowners learned that it was far less expensive to refinish their basement than to add an addition to their home. While basement waterproofing methods have advanced in recent years, basement refinishing had not. Because of the unique and damp environment of the basement, conventional construction methods are largely inappropriate and homeowners were learning the hard way. The advent of basement finishing systems was a major step forward, but they had their deficiencies as well. Most made your basement look like a trailer house or modular home rather than an elegant addition to your home.
To address that need, The Basement Tuxedo assembled a group of waterproofing, structural, and refinishing contractors and engineers to develop an unsurpassed finishing system that addressed the deficiencies of other systems and the unique basement environment.
